About BARN 5400

Once the Old Adobe lumber yard, Cornerstone is bringing new life to the barn off Old Redwood Highway in Petaluma. The vision is to create a makerspace for artisans of all sorts and a place where the community can interact with local artists,  brewers and musicians.

Meet the Makers

Ashwini studied ceramics with Ray Meeker, in Pondicherry, India after years of engagement with classical dance and literature. From 2010-2017, she traveled to Australia, China, Japan, and all over the US as a resident artist, firing various kinds of kilns, meeting and collaborating with other artists, extending her repertoire of skills, and finally choosing Petaluma as her home.

Fuel for people, not rockets. At Retrograde Coffee Roasters, we're going back to the basics of what we love about coffee. We take pride in our craft of brewing coffee using classic brew methods and paramount precision. Our focus is in the details with our small batch coffee roasting and entirely hand made provisions. For us, coffee is all about community in every single step of the supply chain.

Sonoma County based boutique, Soap Cauldron, is the home of the Three Sisters Apothecary, a line of artisan soaps and skincare handcrafted in small batches in the centuries-old tradition with gourmet oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals.

Matt and Johanna met in Beverly Hills, working in the entertainment industry. After living in LA for a few years, they decided to quit their jobs and commit to working for themselves. The name Molehill Mountain comes from the saying, "Don't make a mountain out of a molehill," which exemplifies how they think life should be lived. At the core, they just want to enjoy life, and hope that their products serve as a little reminder to relax, enjoy, and live it up!
